Pick your palette
Think about what colors the recipient likes.
- A palette of warm colors, middle-of-the-palette cool colors, right-one color in varying shades
- Choose a color story based on what you think the recipient will like
Make someone’s day!
Add flower food to the water and change the water every day or every other day to extend the life of the bouquet.
- Give your bouquet to your loved one. It will be even more meaningful that you arranged it yourself!
Go shopping!
Look for one to two types of greenery with different textures and three to four types of flowers in your color palette
Build your bouquet
Add each item in this order: Start with the greenery, then add your filler flowers, tall flowers to create a high point, star flowers to add the “star” flowers, and dainty flowers to round out the bouquet
